Why this project?
This website was created as part of a pedagogical exercise at the MMi Department in Montbéliard (2025). The aim is to make the story of Lise Meitner and the Matilda Effect accessible to everyone, especially students and the general public. The project highlights the importance of recognizing women’s contributions in science and fighting against their erasure.
A collaborative and educational approach
This site is part of a collective class project on the Matilda Effect. Each student created their own interpretation and digital resource to raise awareness. The content is designed to be clear, accessible, and visually engaging, with a focus on both scientific accuracy and storytelling.
